Victoria Beckham: My Dad Had a Rolls-Royce
We'll be honest, we didn't think Victoria Beckham would be making an appearance on our Blog. Not this early on anyway. But, how could we not touch on the recent news showing the former Spice Girl in a rather amusing new t-shirt!
 
The t-shirt comes off the back of a scene from her husband, David Beckham's latest documentary. 'Beckham' looks back at the life and career of Victoria's hubby David, but also let's slip some info about Posh Spice's Dad's choice of car for the school run.


Arriving to School Like Proper Royalty  

After a bit of a battle, Victoria is comically cajoled into revealing what her Dad drove her to school in by David. The revelation is made after David has a little prod at Victoria's working-class background. Victoria goes on to say that her Dad took her to school in a Rolls-Royce! Not your every day run around that's for sure, but it does look good on the new t-shirt.
So what kind of Roller do we think Victoria's Dad was poodling around in? Perhaps a 1920’s winged and wire wheels model, or probably most likely, a sixties saloon with plenty of miles! Here's hoping some real pictures of the car in question come to light soon. Until then, we've selected a couple of models that might have been similar. 
Perhaps a vintage model?
 Or maybe a Rolls that is more of a high miler!

My Dad's Car T-Shirt Coming Soon...Maybe

Retailing at an eye-watering £110, Victoria's white t-shirt features the sentence 'My Dad Had a Rolls-Royce' on the front.
We may have to do a run of these for the My Dad's Car merch line. 'My Dad Had a Cortina' and 'My Dad Had a Vauxhall Cavalier SRI' being early front runners. What you can be sure of though is our pricing is likely to be a little more working-class!
